I have seen several times when approving user (yes I read the data you fill in when registering) that the reason for joining the site is routinely listed as... I want to use or download the CB Connector... or reasons very similar.

So I just wanted to make sure that everyone is aware that anyone can download the current version of the CB Connector without registering on this website.  Registering on this website allows you to post in our forums and bug tracker.  I also closely follow the CB Connector forum on Joomlapolis.com if you are registered over there and don't want to register here...

Only registered "Alpha Testers" have access to files which are not publicly released and I am in the process of determining how I am going to revamp that process because like a lot of other open-source projects the percent of active versus registered alpha testers is quite low.

I don't want to discourage registration on this site but for those that only want to download the CB Connector I wanted to let them know that they don't have to register to download.

Thanks for using the CB Connector and this website.  There is just a few little issues I want to clean up then I anticipate a v2 final release before year's end.  Then work will either proceed on an alpha version of the CBC Wrapper that doesn't use IFRAMES or on v2.1 which will work on Joomla 1.5.
