CBconnector.com is slowly coming back online... Since the hacking event on Monday 10-20-08 I have been looking at upgrading the site under the hood to increase performance and security. In the process I have found out some of my older components don't handle some of my tighter security settings... so I am slowly upgrading or replacing those components as well. Currently the site is only partially back online. I will be recreating the menus, content, etc. from a database backup so the site may look slightly different. Currently I have not re-ported the site users. The forum is back online and does have the users and permissions from before the hack. You can get to the forums by using http://forums.cbconnector.com NOTE: The older link http://cbconnector.com/forums will NO LONGER WORK. I will post more information as the site comes more online... |

 CB Connector ( CBC ) Version 2.0.0 is finally here! After many delays, additional features, bug fixes, etc. The final non-Beta release of Version 2.0 is upon us. Many originally unplanned features are included in this release.
Some of the highlights include: - CBC now supports Categories Hierarchy, phpBB2, and phpBB3 forums.
- Vastly improved handling of non-english character encoding
- 'Dynamic Link Redirection' for the CBC Wrapper v2. ( Supporting standard templates for each of the forums )
- Additions to the CBC Query Module such as New Private Message count (i.e. You have x New Messages )
- Addition of a Forum Filter on CBC Query Module so that individual CBC Query Module copies can be Filtered to a specifc forum or forums
- And more...
When you download CBC v2 make sure to download CBC Wrapper v2 and CBC Query Module v2 as well to make sure you can take advantage of all the new features. More updates to come to the website to describe this important update. |

CB Connector v2 will be coming out soon... I am needing language files updated. drop a note in the thread here if you are interested in updating a non-english language file. I will then e-mail you the latest english file and if already created the current language file needing updated.
p.s. I have had a difficult time finding anyone wanting to keep these language files up to date... so after v2 only up to date language files will be released with CB Connector. Currently only German has a Language File Champion... MaxMoon Thanks! |
